THE SPACE PLACE. NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab provides space science in action.

AIRHEAD. Neat site to study air pollution. Includes an Emissions Calculator so students can see their impact on the environment. 

OCEAN EXPLORER. Dive deep into the world's oceans with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Good teaching tools.

STORMY WEATHER. Enables students to learn about the destructive forces of nature.

ASTRONOMY ACTIVITIES. Good projects for K-12 students.

PAPER PLATE EDUCATION. Complex notions reduced to paper plate explanations. 

GF AWESOME. Great resource for planning an ecology curriculum. Lesson plans, activities, quizzes, and entertaining virtual tours of global forests.

THE HUMAN HEART. Illustrations and interactive presentations on the workings of the heart.

THE NATIONAL AQUARIUM. Located in Baltimore, the National Aquarium has some neat exhibits.

THE VIRTUAL FROG DISSECTION KIT. Explore the anatomy of a frog, turn it over, remove the skin, and highlight various organs. Really well done.

3-D INSECTS. Everything about insects, including cool VRML movies. Watch the bugs fly!

MAD SCIENTIST NETWORK. "The laboratory that never sleeps." Answers on everything from Anatomy to Zoology.

THE CHEMICAL SCORECARD. Find out where the harmful chemicals polluting your community come from. Polluters HATE this site.

THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL ONLINE. Rated the top science/nature site on the Web by USA Today. Also linked into Animal Planet and the Science Network.

BILL NYE, THE SCIENCE GUY. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, this site is loaded with activities and facts. There's a "Demo of the Day," and listings for Nye's TV show, too.

BIO-CHEM-NET. Well-organized directory of the best educational biology and chemistry sites on the Net.

HOW STUFF WORKS. Articles and animated diagrams that explain how everyday things work.

THE YUCKIEST SITE ON THE INTERNET. Focuses on strange science, like "Why do we burp?" A lot of fun.

EXPLORATORIUM. Interactive science exhibits cover subjects ranging from frogs to sheeps brains to sports and the science associated with them.

SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT GUIDE. From the University of Michigan Internet Library, all sorts of projects students can do.
